GREEN BOXWOOD
We may be flying you all around the world, burning up fossil fuels and destroying the ozone layer, but you will be pleased to know that paper from the Boxwood office is shredded and used as hen bedding to absorb potash before composting. Shredded paper is also fed into a couple of wormeries, also to produce compost. We have not yet found anything from the office to use in pig rearing, but we have set up a ‘Pig Partnership’, each family involved in Boxwood Tours ending up with a side of pork.
