BOXWOOD & THE EURO
Setting tour prices every September is always a leap in the dark: whilst our travellers need to be assured of good value for money, a small error on our part can wipe out the margin on which our future depends. The Euro has become more expensive over 2 successive seasons: up 16% between the beginning and end of 2008 and up another 11.25% by the end of the 2009 season. We are pleased to say, however, that we have managed to hold the inevitable increase in average price per night for Boxwood Tours in the Euro-zone to a proportion less than the Euro Pound exchange rate increase.
