September is an ideal time to enjoy gardens featuring subtropical species and late summer perennials. Late summer garden attractions include subtropical Logan and Cally Gardens specialist perennial nursery. Charles Jenks' 'Garden of Cosmic Speculation' has attracted much attention in recent years and is a different experience altogether. Late summer borders of Shropshire and of Yorkshire feature in 2 further new tours: 'Gardens of a Golden Afternoon' and 'Hortus goes to Yorkshire'. Visiting gardens by boat is a unique and memorable feature of 'Gardens of Venice & the Veneto', also in September, a good time to be in Italy.
