Boxwood Bookings Rush

Sir Roy Strong at The Laskett
 2 Tours Almost Sold Out...
We have been completely bowled over by the rush of bookings since the early season tour programme was published in October. At time of writing, there are just 2 rooms left on the May tours to Provence and to the Cote d'Azur, French gardens seeming in vogue just now. Italian garden tours are usually in demand, and sure enough the Boxwood 'Undiscovered Umbria' tour, also in May, is filling fast. Domestic tour bookings generally arrive later than overseas tours and we really do have some great garden selections on offer: the Gardens Illustrated 'Ring o' Roses' series of 3 long weekend breaks is aimed at busy folk based in London, each with a rich selection of gardens and nurseries to enjoy as well as the company of fellow travellers, all based in fine accommodation. Roy Strong is a well-known voice in art & architecture; the Boxwood 'Glimpses of Paradise' tour in June offers a chance to visit Sir Roy's garden, The Laskett, along with a rich collection of Herefordshire gardens. Cornwall has long been known for its fine gardens and the location of many garden tours. 'Exotic Plants & Gardens of the Cornish Riviera' is a particular Boxwood selection of less-visited gardens & nurseries showcasing the amazing range of plants grown in this temperate climate, introduced by enthusiastic & knowledgeable gardeners & growers of the area. Programmed for the end of April, this could also be a preview of Spring for travellers from colder climes. We are really working hard to find ways to convey the sheer richness of gardens enjoyed by travellers on Boxwood Tours every year, but the best way is just to come and see for yourself: most people booking with Boxwood are more than happy to repeat the experience, often many, many times....
