At time of writing, our first 12 travellers accompanied by The Times Garden Correspondent, Stephen Anderton and tour leader, Sophieke Piebenga are enjoying the exquisite garden of Lamorran House on the Roseland Peninsula. With 4 further tours leaving over the next 3 weeks, the office is buzzing with last minute communications with travellers, tour leaders, gardens & hotels, ensuring every detail is in place. All tours organised by Boxwood are one-off events rather than 'off the peg', oft repeated routines. This entails a lot of work but ensures each tour is a fresh and vibrant experience for travellers, many of whom book regularly with Boxwood. In addition to those advertised, we are also organising tours for groups from Missouri Botanic Gardens, Berlin Garden Academy, & Foxrock Garden Club, Dublin, so by the end of the day, admin assistant, Ali Newbould will have been in touch with customers, gardens, hotels, airlines & coach companies worldwide.
