Helena Attlee at Sissinghurst
Italy gardens writer and tour leader Helena Attlee is running two Saturday workshops (October 19th & 26th) on garden writing at Sissinghurst, based in the faded beauty of the South Wing sitting room, set within the famed flower garden. The garden writing days will offer an intimate and exclusive experience for anyone who loves gardens, gardening and writing, and for those who admire Sissinghurst, Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson. The workshops will encourage participants to truly observe the garden and the plants in it, to engage with its history and to explore techinques for conveying a sense of place. The day will incorporate time to explore the gardens and estate, and will include a seasonal lunch in the Granary Restaurant.
